Age and Weight Restrictions

Adult Renter's Responsibility
All renters of Drives Me Crazy, llc ride-ons must provide a safe area for the children to use these ride-ons. Additionally, all renters are required to use the ride-ons in a safe manner and make sure that all children are wearing safety helmets and any other safety material that they deem necessary their guest to have a fun but safe experience. Renters are expected to make sure that only children in the age and weight range, use the ride ons. Drives Me Crazy, llc requires the renter to return the ride-ons in the same condition that they were rented out to them. All ride-ons are photographed prior to rental and right after rental. The renter agrees upon rental that they will be liable for any damages that may occur to the ride-ons during rental use. And most importantly, all children must be supervised by adults, at all times during use of the ride ons.
Do You Sell Ride-Ons
At DMC, we do not like to sell our ride ons because they take time to get back, we have to put them together again and we lose out on being able to rent them to the next person. That being said, at DMC we have a strict "We do not want to sell" price of $900 for any of the ride-ons. If it is at your location, put together and you really, really, really need to have it, then yes, we will sell it at that price, but we much prefer to not sell it and continue to use it for our rental parties.
Tiny Car Transporter
Drives Me Crazy, llc's tiny car transporter is a Japanese Kei Truck which can hold up to 10 ride-ons. Kei trucks are Japanese farm trucks and are only allowed in the USA if they are at least 25 years old. They are fun to drive because they are four wheel drive, the steering wheel is on the right side and most of the trucks have a manual transmission. The Kei truck runs on a 660cc engine (kind of like a motorcycle engine) and can go up to 55 MPH. They are not allowed on any roads that have a speed limit higher than 55 MPH and they are not legal to drive in every state, but they are legal to drive in North and South Carolina. DMC just likes the way they look. Ours has been turned into a car transporter and uses a wench to lower and raise the ride-on cars to the top level. At DMC, we will try to use the Kei truck to transport the rental ride-ons to the location, however there may be times when another vehicle will have to be used. For example when there are multiple parties or the renter has ordered many ride-ons and the Kei truck can not deliver that many ride-ons all at once.
Insurance Bond Information
Drives Me Crazy, llc has both general liability and accidental insurance policies.
Drop Off and Pick Up Times
For a birthday party rental, DMC will arrive 30 minutes before the party to unload the ride-on cars, set up the neon traffic safety cones and explain how the remote controls work. DMC will answer any remaining questions and make sure that all ride-ons are lined up and ready to use at the renter's preferred location. DMC will drop off the ride-ons, make sure that all questions have been answered and then, when the renter is comfortable with how to use the ride-ons, will leave and come back at the end of the party to pick up the rented ride-ons.

For daily rentals, DMC will drop off the rentals at 10:00am on the requested rental day and then pick up the rented electric car or cars, the next day. DMC will contact the renter to let them know that DMC will be coming to pick up the rented electric cars.
Most Ride-Ons are Electric
Most ride-ons are electric, however, many of the ride-on horses are mechanical and use realistic up and down horse riding movement to propel forward.
Most Ride-Ons Have Remote Control
Most ride-ons have remote control, where the parent has complete control over the vehicle, however, some do not. The ones that do not, in most cases, are less powerful or are extra protective. Guardians are required to supervise the children at all times.
How Fast Do The Electric Ride-Ons Go
Most of the ride-ons have batteries that are either 6v or 12v and go between 2.5mph to 5mph. The typical human walking speed is 3 to 4 mph. Most ride-ons have remote control, where the parent has complete control over the vehicle, however, some do not. The ones that do not, in most cases, are less powerful or are extra protective. Additionally, most ride-ons have a low and high speed setting in order to better control the power output for younger children. Adults are required to supervise the children at all times.
